This is where Art and Design intersect. It’s a table, it is also a piece of art. It relates to other valid art forms (the soup) yet is designed to serve a purpose other than entertainment or aesthetics.
These days, artists design shoes, furniture and advertising. Designers create art installations, exhibition work and gallery pieces. I say, whats the difference?
These guys are brilliant, their work is beautiful, they work well together and they create work for different purposes and uses.
